The 5th Session of Huashu Club by Shanghai Bingtuo: Exploring the Light of Wisdom in *The Analects* Together

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "Culture is a country and nation’s soul. Our country will thrive only if our culture thrives, and our nation will be strong only if our culture is strong. Without full confidence in our culture, without a rich and prosperous culture, the Chinese nation will not be able to rejuvenate itself."

Over its long history, the Chinese nation has created splendid ancient civilizations. *The Analects of Confucius* stands out as a masterpiece of traditional Chinese classics and a foundational canonical work of Confucian literature. Compiled by Confucius’ disciples and their subsequent generations of followers, it has exerted profound influence on countless generations from ancient times to the present day.

"By reciting classics, we explore the grandeur of our vast land; by conversing with ancient sages, we grasp the power of writings spanning thousands of years." The 5th Analects Reading Sharing Session of Huashu Club hosted by Shanghai Bingtuo officially kicked off. With sharing delivered by staff from Bingtuo, this reading event aims to help participants exchange insights, enlighten wisdom through interpreting the timeless wisdoms recorded in *The Analects*, and put these teachings into practice in daily life and professional work.

Session 1: Warm-up Activity

Bing Tuo hosts Huashu Club in a distinctive style, kicking off the event with a warm-up activity featuring traditional Chinese comic monologue.

  Staff from Bingtuo actively shared their insights. By studying classics of ancient sages, they cultivate noble virtues and strive to become knowledgeable mentors. Reading the *Analects* and participating in sharing sessions brings a spiritual baptism. They absorb the wisdom of ancient saints, exchange understandings and insights, spark ideological collisions, discuss their gains in diverse forms, and conduct collective reflection and research.

  The wisdom of *The Analects* lights our path forward. At the closing, Mr. Xin told everyone: "Studying alone without companions makes one narrow-minded and ill-informed. One person may walk faster, but a group can travel farther." It is hoped that everyone will keep reading, move forward together, discover the best version of themselves, share the nourishment of knowledge and spend precious time pursuing wisdom side by side.
